| DRDA employees project demands | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Dec 13: Dozens of District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) employees of different parts of erstwhile Doda region held an emergency meeting and deliberated upon long pending and genuine demands of the fraternity.
Thereafter addressing the media persons, the Spokesperson of the DRDA Employees said that Ministry of Rural Development Department had issued a guidelines during the year 1999 in which it was mentioned that all the DRDA borne employees who are working in the said department for the last 12-15 years will be adjusted in Rural Development Department (RDD) within the duration of 5 years. "A cabinet decision was taken vide No 23/13 of 16-10-2006 dated and order no 291 RD of 2006 dated 06-11-2006, that all the DRDA employees will be adjusted in RDD within three and five years respectively, he said adding, "despite lapse of seven years, nothing has been done so far in this regard. In this connection the then Commissioner Secretary RDD Mohammad Syed Khan had directed Director RDD for the adjustment of all those DRDA employees but the employees of DRDA in J&K State in general and erstwhile Doda region are running from pillar to post . They have urged the Chief Minister, Secretary Commissioner RDD and Minister concerned to intervene in to the matter personally and consider their geuine and long pending demands at an earliers with out any further delay. |
