| PHE technical employees stage protest | | | Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, Dec 13: All J&K PHE ITI Plumber /CP workers Association unit Doda district today held a protest rally from Sari Bazaar to PHE filter plant Gagal ,Bhaderwah under the chairmanship of its district President Mohd SAjad Ganai and highlighted their demands. Amid anti administration sloganeering the agitated protestors working in department from last ten years warned the higher authorities against anti workers policies. The protesters alleged that their issues included regularization and release of salary on time had remained unresolved despite staging frequent protests. Speakers highlighted their demands which include release the wages of CP workers and daily wagers, regularization of eligible ITI and daily rated workers who have completed the seven years service, benefits of minimum wages to all the daily rated workers as per SRO-3 and time bound promotion in favour of eligible employees in due date and time. They also demanded issuance of articles like Bench, Torch, Rain Coat, Umbrella, Gum Shoes etc to the workers. They also warned the PHE authorities and state government that if due consideration is not paid towards genuine demands of the workers, the association shall be forced to intensify their stir. They also said that a delegation led by state president Tanveer Ahmed met PHE minister Sham Lal Sharma in Jammu and minister had assured the regularization of ITI trained plumbers and CP workers who are working in department from last many years. |
