| Polytechnic students demand action against teacher | | | early times report
UDHAMPUR, Dec 13: Demanding strict action against a teacher for his unwarranted behaviour, the students of Government Polytechnic, Udhampur held a meeting here today.
The agenda of the meeting was to discuss a complaint against a teacher of the institute, Neeraj Sambyal, who they alleged is harassing them on one pretext or the other.
The students alleged that the Principal Vipin Mahajan has failed to take any action against the teacher even as they filed a complaint addressed to the head of the institute on December 7 last
The meeting was informed that the complaint against the teacher was also forwarded to District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Minister of State for Technical Education Vikaar Rasool and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
The students demanded punitive action against the teacher otherwise they will launch an agitation to seek justice. |
