| Two years RI to accused for sodomy | | | early times report Jammu, Dec 13 (JNF): Sub-Judge Batote awarded two years rigorous imprisonment and fine Rs 5000/- to one Kaka Ram who was facing trial Sodomy (377 RPC). After hearing two sides Sub-Judge Batote Naushad A Khan said court is of the opinion that the prosecution has been able to establish the offence under section 377 RPC against the accused and accused is held guilty for the commission of offence under section 377 RPC & is accordingly convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of two years with a fine of Rs.5000/- ( Five thousand ). In default of payment of fine the accused shall under go another period of simple imprisonment for six months. According to the police case that on September 5, 2010 complainant Santokh Chand moved an application at PS Batote stating therein that on September 4, 2010 Kaka Ram accused took his son Kuldeep Chand (11) for labour work on the wages of Rs. 100/- per day and committed unnatural offence with him in the bushes at Tringala. The accused has also threatened him not to disclose this thing to anybody otherwise he will kill him. On receipt of this application FIR No.76/2010 under section 377 RPC was lodged and after completion of investigation presented challan in the Court of law. |
