AVMJ, IAR to organize protest on Jan 24

Jammu, Dec 12: Arakshan Virodhi Manch Jammu (AVMJ) and India against Reservation (IAR) has decided to organize a protest against caste based reservation outside Press Club on January 24.
According to press release, addressing a press conference Yash Paul Senson and Sat Paul Sharma said that both the organization have been fighting against reservation (caste based), against scholarship (Caste based) in the state.
"We are going to start donation and membership campaign from 1st January 2014 door to door and we appeal to the people of general categories who are unreserved in the Indian Constitution support and join us, financial and personally", they said.
Senson said that reservation was responsible for price rise, corruption as 50% people got subsidy and other benefits at the cost of 50% who paid heavy taxes to the government, benefits of subsidies and reservation must be provided to the needy and deserving through special support measures (SSM) by the government.
