| Elevator in District Court Complex inaugurated | | |  early times report
Jammu, Dec13: (JNF): Following the directions of the Chief Justice of State High Court MM Kumar, an elevator was thrown open to the use of physically challenged people which was inaugurated by two Specially-Abled Advocates namely Suraj Singh and Rajeev Bhushan Sharma.
Speaking on this inaugural occasion Principal District & Sessions Judge Jammu Kartar Singh stressed the need of more such elevators so as to facilitate movement of physically challenged, disabled litigants, who generally had been facing lot of hardships in reaching to the court rooms. He also stressed upon the JKPCC authorities to ensure that round the clock power supply and backup be provided, so that people can take maximum use of such elevator.
Besides Principal Sessions Judge Jammu, among others present on this occasion included Presiding Officers of Subordinate Courts, Vice President Bar Association Jammu Adv Sindu Sharma and Secretary RS Jamwal, Advocates and Judicial Staff. |
