| Civil Defence Camp organized at Chenab College | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 13: A five day Civil Defence Camp organized by the NSS Unit of Chenab College of Education commenced here in college premises here today in formal inaugural ceremony.
According to spokesperson of college, the camp was inaugurated by a team of officers of Civil Defence headed by R Vijay Magotra and Alok Nanda Dy Divisional Warden Civil Defence Jammu. Civil Defence Instructors Sudershan Singh Saini, Balwant Singh Manhas and Rajesh Bhan also participated as resource persons.
"Besides Principal Kamaldeep Kour, Programme Officer Ms Priya Gupta, Shivani Abrol and other concerned faculty members from Chenab College of Education, a large number of volunteers of NSS Camp of Chenab College of Education were also present on inaugural occasion, he added.
The volunteers will be made aware about activities of Civil Defence and its utility during emergency especially fire incidents, accidents etc. |
