| JWAM seeks Guv's intervention as major projects put at back burner | | | Jammu, Dec 13: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) president Sunil Dimple has urged the Governor N N Vohra for his intervention to get flyover projects initiated in Rehari Chungi, Jewal chowk and Chanab Water Supply Project as present regime has betrayed not only people but also to him by putting all these projects at back burner. In his press statement Sunil Dimple wrote to the Governor of state alleging that neither Chief Minister, nor the ministers are visible in the Secretariat and the ministers have confined themselves up to their constituencies only. Urging Governor to pass directives to the Chief Minister and his cabinet to resolve problems of people, Sunil Dimple disclosed that the movement has decided to start mass protests in the constituency and the Jammu city from Dec 16 against the failure of the govt against the worsening traffic problems and putting the dream projects of the Jammu in the cold storage. He also reiterated demands of movement for construction of alternative circular road from Amphalla -Manda to Roop Nagar, Bantalab and Jewal Chowk to Talab Tillo via Bhagwati Nagar to Ease the traffic on these stretches. He also said that Chinab drinking water supply scheme too has been put in the Cold storage. |
