| 'Financial Literacy' Camp organized at GGHSS Reasi | | | Reasi: A financial literacy camp was organised at Govt Girls Hr Sec School (GGHSS) Reasi here today by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development(NABARD), Reasi.
Besides Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) Reasi Shahid Iqbal Choudhary among others present
include Aarshi Sharma NABARD Reasi, Rohit Mehta LDM SBI Reasi, Mrs Sulakshana Thakur AD District Employment office, Dr Imtiaz JKEDI, Irfan JKEDI, Surinder Employment office, Principal Govt Girls Hr Sec School.
On the occasion, Aarshi Sharma NABARD Reasi briefed the gathering about the introduction of banking system in India in particular to the functioning of RBI and NABARD to students. She also underlined that parents should inculcate the habit of savings among their wards by opening savings account at nearby banks. Later, a Quiz competition on banking was organised and prizes were distributed among the students.
Rohit Mehta LDM SBI Reasi spoke about various programs running in RSETI Reasi and motivated people to attend training and become self employed.
Thakur spoke about various self employment schemes of govt which are currently running for individuals. Later Dr Imtiaz did career counselling of students and briefed students on various entrepreneurship development schemes of JKEDI. |
