| Sher-e-Kashmir Gold Cup Football final on Dec 23 | | | Sports Reporter
JAMMU, Dec 20: The final of the 4th Sher-e-Kashmir Gold Cup Football Tournament, organised by J&K National Conference, shall be played on December 23 at 3 pm at GGM Science College ground, here. The final shall be played between the two professional sides of J&K Bank and J&K Power Development Corporation (PDC). Earlier, in the semifinals, J&K Bank upset equally good J&K Forests while PDC outplayed the local club of Young Rovers.
"We have decided to hold the final on December 23. This time the finalist teams shall be presented with cash prizes amidst honour to the veteran and other international players of the state. It has also been decided to decorate the upcoming local teams as a token of encouragement," chairman of the organising committee, Surinder Singh Bunty told reporters. |
