| EVM training imparted to officials | | |
Doda, Dec 20: In view of the forthcoming Parliamentary Elections in the state, an EVM Training session was conducted under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda Imam Din, at DC Office Doda today where master trainers imparted training to the prospective presiding officers and polling officials.
According to official spokesperson, "Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) Master trainers i.e. Dr Akhter Hussain and Manzoor Ahmed imparted training to the officials belonging to Rural Development Department and CAPD Department of 4 Blocks Marmat, Assar, Bhagwah and Ghat. ADC Doda Imam Din while speaking on the occasion enjoined upon the trainee officials to keep themselves abreast with the handling and functioning of the EVM for the smooth and hassle free conduct of the Election process.
During the training the trainee officials were made aware about the various steps to be followed before the commencement of polling and after end of polling process i.e, connecting of Ballot Unit and Control Unit, mock polling, sealing of units etc. besides this other precautionary measures which needs to be taken for the safety, security and privacy of Polling and EVM were also apprised to trainees. |
