Challan against Panchayat secretary in Kashmir 12/20/2013 9:37:52 PM Srinagar, Dec 20 : A challan was produced in a local court in north Kashmir district of Baramulla against a Panchayat Secretary for demanding and accepting bribe. A State Vigilance Organisation (SVO), said here today the challan was produced in the court of Additional District and Session Judge, Baramulla against then Village Level Worker (VLW), who was panchayat secretary, halqa Saidpora, Nizamuddin Sheikh after obtaining necessary sanctions from the concerned competent authorities for his prosecution. The accused public servant while posted in Halqa Saidipora as VLW, demanded and accepted an amount of Rs 5,000 as illegal gratification from the complainant Pervaiz Ahmad Dar for signing the memo bill and completion certificate in respect of work executed under Constitution Development Fund (CDF) scheme by the complainant last year.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
