JU organizes elocution contest on secularism

JAMMU, Dec 20: Abhinandan Singh from Government College of Engg. & Tech, Jammu, bagged the First Prize in Inter-Collegiate/Departmental elocution competition organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu whereas Neha Jamwal from Govt. College of Education, Jammu and Shaveta Sharma from Satyam College of Education, Lakhanpur, Kathua, were adjudged as Second and Third, respectively. The topic of the Elocution Contest was "Secularism". The participants were required to speak for ten minutes on the topic and expressing their views effectively.
Eminent educationist, Jagdish Chander and Dr. Savita Nayyar, Assistant Professor, Department of Law, were the experts for the contest. Prof. Pankaj K Srivastava, Dean Students Welfare, was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
