| Five years of coalition, a total anarchy: PDP | | | ET Report JAMMU, Jan 5: Terming five years performance of Omar Abdullah government as "big zero", the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) today said tenure of Omar Abdullah can be rightly described as "five years of total anarchy, failure and rampant corruption. Addressing series of public meetings at Bakshi Nagar, Sarwal, Bhagwati Nagar and Bahu Fort areas, PDP candidates for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat MLC Yash Pal Sharma, MLC today said that Omar Abdullah government is proved as non performing liability on the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He termed five tenure of this regime as "total failure wherein governance -deficit increasing with every passing day"."I don't think there is even a single achievement of this regime during the last five years", he observed and listed a number of promises which Omar Abdullah has made with the people on number of occasions but there promises remained only on papers during the last five years. He said the five years of Omar Abdulllah have been about sheer survival, anarchy, mis-governance and political failures. "The worst impact of his miserable governance on the common masses, who have been bearing brunt of mis-governance in the state during the last four years", he said. While listing promises, which the government has failed to fulfill during the last five years, Sharma especially mentioned towards delay in conducting urban local bodies (ULB) elections. Calling upon the people to teach a lesson to this government, Sharma said that coming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections would be an appropriate opportunity before the masses to throw out this corrupt regime. |
