SAMBA, Jan 5: A public meeting was held at the resident of senior party leader and former MLA Girdhari Lal Chalotra at Hiranagar. A large number of Congress workers who had gathered took a firm stand to work in unity to strengthen the party as well as the hands of GL Chalotra, whom they describe, a loyal soldier of the party since last 35 years. The party activists praised the work done by Chalotra. The workers also demanded stoppage of Poja Express at Hira Nagar station. |
