| 2 employee of Gas Company among girl succumb | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 5 : Two of the three employees of Bharat gas who fell ill of asphyxia today succumbed while a burn victim undergoing treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) succumbed. Police said spokesman said that Wali Mohd (27), son of Mohd Sadiq, resident of Bera and driver Harbeer Singh, resident of Jallas in Poonch who were referred to GMC from Mendhar hospital died during treatment. They were found in unconscious condition in a room at the gas agency. Police further said that they had lighted a heating pot in view of cold and it remained on throughout the night. Apparently due to gas, they fell ill and were rushed to local hospital. Their bodies after postmortem were handed over to their respective family. It is believed that they died of asphyxia. The condition of third worker-Nitin Sharma, son of Kewal Kumar of Jallas is also stated to be serious. Meanwhile, a girl identified as Rajni daughter of Hans Raj of Bishnah received burns in alleged stove blast at her residence on Saturday. Today during treatment she failed to respond the treatment. In another incident, an unidentified person received burns under mysterious circumstances at Gurah Morh area falling under the jurisdiction of Bakshi Nagar police station. Police said that they have shifted the victim to GMC&H for treatment and his condition could not be established yet. |
