| JKDF holds eye camp at Udhampur | | |
Jammu, Jan 5 : Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF) today held free eye-camp at Common Public Higher School Uhdampur.
According to press release, the camp was held under the supervision of Advocate Sunny Mahajan, General Secretary JKDF. The Eye-camp was attended by hundreds of people from Sangoor and adjoining areas. A team of specialised doctors along with medicines and other infrastructure come from Jammu for the camp. In the camp around 152 people were provided free spectacles by JKDF as recommended by the team of Doctors, and around 56 people will be operated free of cost at Jammu. Speaking on the occasion, Mahajan said that the camp was in continuation to the programmes of JKDF which has been formed for serving our people with every possible effort. "The main motive of JKDF is to educate the masses about their rights and to provide them with all the basic amenities at their doorsteps, and all the activists of JKDF are committed to this", he said, adding that many more such like camps would be organised in the time to come in almost every remote area of Udhampur so that our aim of serving our people can be accomplished. |
