Kathua, Jan 15: Alleging nepotism and favourtism, Senior Congress leader today has condemned the alleged violation of service norms and seniority of 10+2 Lecturers in Physical Education by the Commissioner Secretary Parvez Malik, vide order of 2013 dtd January 6, 2013. The party has demanded a high-level inquiry in to the matter. Addressing a media interaction Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Secretary Sardar Manohar Singh said, "The seniority list issued by the Commissioner Secretary to Government Technical Education K M Bani vide order dated June 27, 2008, clearly shows that some numbers are left as far as the sequence is concerned, he alleged. He further added that prior to Government order of December 6, 2013 issued by Parvez Malik, no tentative list for the promotional purpose is circulated revealing the malicious intensions of favoritism for some candidates having serial numbers 35, 114, 126, 136, 154 and 172. "Moreover, no consultations are made with the Director General Youth Services and Sports prior to issuance of order, he added. Congress leader added that it is astonishing to know that the promotion list is issued on December 6, 2013 whereas the publication of objections and seniority list is made on January 13, 2014 in news. "The party demands of a high-level inquiry in to the matter and the orders issued by the Commissioner Secretary Technical Education may be rescinded with immediate effect, he added. Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Rattan Chand Karotra, Congress Sewa Dal State General Secretary Pawan Sharma, Kunti Kumar and others were also present in this press conference. |
