Jammu, Jan 15: POJK Refugee Front 1947, 1965, 1971 today staged a protest rally at press club, against the state government's failure to concede their long pending demands.
According to press release, Rachpal Singh said that 8 member Parliamentary Standing Committee had visited state from 5 to 7 November and had met several delegations.
"The Revenue Minister got Package for Kashmiri Migrants recommended by the State Cabinet but did not put up the final settlement package for POJK refugees, before the State Cabinet for its recommendations, which is a blatant discrimination", he said, adding that it has compelled them to launch a massive agitation.
He further said that they would launch a massive agitation on January, 26, against the government apathy and in favour of their demands. |
