Doda girl brings laurels, secures 94 per cent marks; fifth position in 10th exams

Doda, Jan 15: Hardwork never goes waste; the phrase comes true for Ruqaya Bano of Doda district who stood fifth with 94 per cent marks in tenth class examination result of which was declared today.
Ruqaya Bano is daughter of Shafiqa Begum and Late Ghulam Mohammad Malla hailing from remote and backward Village Malwana in Doda District and presently studying in Faridia Model High School Doda.
Enthusiastic Ruqaya Bano first thanked Allah for her success and secondly Ruqaya attributed her success to teachers and Guardian Gulnaz Begum Azad. She said her success was the outcome of the support she got from her Guardian Gulnaz Begum Azad where she was residing since last 11 years. At the age of around 4 years when her father Ghulam Mohammad Malla died, she came to Doda and started residing in the house of Gulnaz Azad from where she gets her education.
She claimed that it was only the first step towards her success and she will strive hard to achieve her aim by qualifying competitive examinations like KAS and IAS.
While narrating her success mantra, Ruqaya said that consistent studies and hardwork are the only ways to get success in life.
It is pertinent to mention here that it is for the first time in the history of Faridia Model High School Doda that a student from this institution bagged position in Class 10th Exam. Ruqaya has added feather to the cap of this School by clinching 5th Position in Jammu Division.
Principal of the School Gh Nabi Butt extended his greeting to this budding girl Ruqaya and revealed that the fruit of her hard work helps her bringing laurels to our school.
