| AJKPSEWF hails CM for SVO inquiry in Rs 100 Crores scam | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 15: All J&K Public Sector Employees and Workers Federation has hailed the decision of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for handing over the Rs 100 Crore scam in Jammu Kashmir Cements Ltd (PSU) to State vigilance organization and simultaneously directed the state Government to register the FIR. According to press release, a meeting of Federation members was held in which members deliberated upon the various factors of Rs. 100 Crore scam such as purchase of sub standard machine on abnormally high rates, purchase of sub standard raw material, illegal appointments including the son of managing director JKCL who was on the Chair when the scam took place, shortage of stores to the tune of over Rs. 16 Crores and withdrawal of excess salary by Atul Sharma General Manager JKCL Various aspects of the 100 Crore scam in JKCL clear show that in efficient managements are responsible for such scams and financial health o the various PSUS of the state and not the worker and employees who suffered a lot for such highhandedness by the respective managing directors of PSU's and not for any fault of them. |
