Jammu, Jan 15: Three weeks long UGC Refresher Course in Management Studies (Interdisciplinary which includes Economics, Management and Commerce) being organised by Academic Staff College, University of Jammu in collaboration with Business School commenced today.
According to press release, Prof. ADN Bajpai, Vice-Chancellor, H.P. University, Shimla was chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occassion, Prof. Bajpai said that the teachers must keep themselves updated in the field. Around twenty colleges and university teachers are attending the Course.
Prof. Versha Mehta, Director School of Business Studies and the Coordinator of the Course discussed the need of such courses for the Society. Prof. Rajender Gupta, Director Academic Staff College also spoke during the programme and emphasized the importance of such courses for updating the knowledge of teachers.
