JAMMU, Jan 19: In continuation to its campaign for Mission Green Jammu, the Jammu Kashmir Nirman Sansthan (JKNS) affiliated with Scope in collaboration with JK Forest Department and supported by TV24, a national news channel, planted hundreds of saplings at Bahu Plaza here today.
The saplings of various species were planted by newly colligates (volunteers) with great exuberance to make Jammu a great city to live in. The team of JKNS took oath to save and take care of these plants till their last breath On the occasion, Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma Former Dy. Chief Minister J&K planted Mangifera Indica (Mango) in the Memory of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. |
