Jammu, Feb 6 : Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu organized an Extension Lecture on the topic Usage of Grammar and an Analysis of Sentences as an activity under Language Club.
According to press release, on the occasion Prof Jagdish Sharma, Former Head Department of English, a literary figure par excellence was the Resource Person whereas Dr. Kiran Bakshi, Principal of the College was the Chief Guest. Prof. Seema Mir, Convener Language Club highlighted the contribution of Grammar for attaining perfection in language.
Prof Sharma in his lecture talked in depth about the analysis of sentences and their practical use in honing the writing skills.
Dr Kiran Bakshi also appreciated the quantum of knowledge delivered by worthy Resource Person and anticipated this would definitely help the students to rectify the frequent recurring errors. It was attended by the students and staff members of the College and ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Ashu Vashist. |
