Jammu, Feb 6: After Islamia College of Commerce Srinagar, Govt. College for Women Parade Jammu has been conferred Autonomous Status by the UGC for a period of six years from 2014-2020.
As per press release, now these colleges will now be able to enjoy the academic autonomy by way of conducting their own examination and formulate their own syllabi thus lowering the burden of the university. The principal places on record her gratitude to the staff- teaching, non-teaching, Students, Alumni, Parents and Stakeholders due to whose efforts the college achieved this status. |
