Jammu, Feb 6 : Gandhi Memorial College of Education (GMCE), Raipur, Bantalab, Jammu in collaboration with "INTACH" Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage (J&K) began 3 day workshop here today. As per press release, eminent educationists and intellectuals from various educational institutes of great repute across the state, resource persons and audience and some prominent persons from our state shall be attending this 3 day long workshop. Ashok Dhar President HESK was the chief Guest on this occasion. In his presidential speech he laid stress on arts integration as instruction that can blend content and skills from one arts discipline music, visual arts, dance, and theater with another arts discipline or academic subject. The most successful arts integration is more than academics with arts activities added he, and pointed out that Successful arts integration should stand on a Foundation of carefully planned learning the goal. Altaf Hussan from INTACH read the welcome address and program highlights where as CM sethi (W.W.F), Zahoor Ahmed, Kulpreet Rana (Fine Art), Bindya Tickoo from GMCEJ, Vijay Goswami were the resource persons for the first day. |
