| Model Academy students visit recycle factory | | |

Jammu, Feb 6 : The Eco club of Model Academy in collaboration with the World Wide Life Fund organized a trip to the recyclable goods factory at ShamaChak, Jammu in continuation with the National Environment Awareness Campaign (NEAC) under the guidelines of Ministry of Environment and Forest, Govt. of India.
In all, 40 students accompanied by four teachers visited the factory. The students took a round of various working areas of the factory and keenly observed various processes of making cardboard from recycled paper and the different equipment and machinery used in the process.
The visit was an eye-opener for the students, as per the release. It was an opportunity for them to see how millions of trees are saved by recycling paper. The whole experience was both enjoyable & thought provoking. The main idea behind the visit was to give students an exposure & firsthand experience further, making them motivated by seeing for themselves how paper is recycled & teaching the students to be eco-warriors' of tomorrow. |
