Poonch, Feb 6: Supporters of senior NC Leader and MLA Poonch, Ajaz Jan today organized celebrations to welcome MLA Haveli Poonch Ajaz Jan at BG, Surankote, Kalai, Khanater, Delara, Banch, Kunya and Poonch City for his significant role in getting creation of new administrative units in Haveli Constituency.
While addressing Jashan-e-Poonch" rallies, Jan said that creation of new administrative units has met the long pending demands of the people of these areas which would be a turning point as far as socio-economic advancement of the people of this constituency is concerned.
Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for creating new administrative units, MLA Jan said, "I am satisfied that CSC Committee has accommodated genuine wishes of the all the three regions of the state and justice has been done with all the deserving areas of state."
Terming the decision as 'a victory for National Conference, Jan appreciated NC members in CSC and said the committee was constituted due to the efforts of Chief Minister. He stated that this mega rally "
Jan also complimented the Cabinet Sub Committee (CSC) members for projecting the demands of the people and the deputations who had come to put forth their view point and these were also accommodated. He hoped that these recommendations of the CSC would help the people to get solutions of their problems at their door steps. Calling upon the people to strengthen hands of NC party, he said that it was result of the vision of Chief Minister Omar Abdullha leadership that various revolutionary steps have been taken by the government.
Meanwhile locals enroute the way to Haveli Poonch burst crackers, distributed sweets and danced to the beats of drums to celebrate this historic decision.
