| Truck mauls CRPF personnel to death | | | Early Times Repot
Jammu, Feb 6: A Sub-Inspector of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was crushed to death by a truck while he was clearing road near Tringla at Batote this morning, police sources said. Meanwhile the accused driver has been arrested.
Police said that the deceased CRPF Sub Inspector (SI) has been identified as Yaspal resident of Noushera presently deployed with 84 Battalion.
Police said that the deceased who was part of Road Opening Party (RoP) was crushed to death by an over speeding truck near Tringla.
His colleagues immediately shifted him to District Hospital Udhampur but he succumbed to his grievous injuries on the way and was pronounced as brought dead. Police said that they have arrested the truck driver identified as Sujawat Hussain of Uri and truck was seized for further action. |
