Et Report Jammu, Feb 6 : Panic gripped the Paloura base camp of Border Security Force (BSF) in the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir when eight jawans were found lying unconscious due to asphyxiation. "Eight BSF personnel were yesterday found unconscious inside the camp due to inhaling of dangerous 'carbon monoxide gas' formed in the room due to ignition of a 'Kangri' (traditional fire pot)," police sources said here on Thursday. They said the unconscious jawans, identified as Yogesh, Neeraj, Davinder Singh, Vishal Sharma, Balbir Singh, Kamal Kishore, Vishwinder Singh and Mohammad Sahib, were immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu. "The condition of the jawans was stated to be stable and they were discharged after the treatment," the police said |
