| PDP alleges discrimination with Samba | | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, Feb 7 : PDP District President Pawan Dev Singh criticized the government for ignoring Samba district in the constitution of administrative units.
Pawan Singh said that the state govt has totally ignored the samba constituency and any new tehsil has been constituted in this constituency whereas Hiranagar constituency has been given one tehsil. singh said that the way in which Samba constituency has been ignored by the Cabinet Sub Committee is highly objectionable and condemdable. The samba constituency has given ignored for the last 67 years as the National conference and congress led govt ,s did not nothing during their Tennures as a rural never botherd to provide the political emprovement to the people of samba and it was only the PDP led govt when a local party MLA was given MOS for three years and various developmental sehemes were started including industrial growth centre, degree college, SDM and hundreds of schools were up graded. Singh warned the govt to the people of Samba would be forced to start agitation in Samba will come on the roads if the state govt did not reveiew its stand to sanction new tehsils in samba constituency. |
