| NMC urges 7th pay commission chairman to submit interim report | | |

Jammu, Feb 7: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today urged upon the newly appointed chairman of the 7th pay commission to immediate recommend to the central government in his interim report to sanction 20percent interim relief in favour of both Central/State governments.
According to press release, in a memorandum sent to retired justice Ashok Mathur Chairman of the Commission, NMC urged him to start negotiations with representatives of Associations/unions/federations of central government employees and pensioners so that report could be submitted within stipulated period.
"Since two years time to complete pay commission report, it has been urged to the commission to pay visit to all States of the country to obtain views of State Governments employees and pensioners organizations may also be benefited out of", Shastri said.
Shastri further urged to the Chairman of the 7th pay commission to formulate National pay policy for both Central and State governments employees and pensioners. |
