| LMD raids restaurant | | Subsidized domestic LPG cylinders seized | | ET Report
Jammu, Feb 7 : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Jammu Ajeet Sahu, a team of officers of Legal Metrology led by Joint Controller & Deputy Controller(Consumer Protection) today conducted extensive checking of Restaurants at Narwal Bye pass & Channi Himmat area to curb the misuse of subsidized LPG Gas cylinders at commercial establishments.
The team found M/S Mint Leaf Restaurant at Channi Himmat using domestic LPG cylinders in the kitchen,11 domestic cylinders of HP & Bharat Gas companies were found in the premises of the restaurant. All the cylinders were seized by SHO Channi Himmat & was asked to investigate about the supplier after registering the case under EC Act. |
