Jammu, Feb 7: All Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation Volunteer Retired Employees (J&K SRTC VRS) today staged protest demonstration and sarkar virodh rally under the leadership of VRS union president Dev Raj Bali here at outside the press club. According to press release, union general secretary Surinder Singh said that the rally was moved towards the civil secretariat, Jammu and raised slogans against commissioner/Secretary Transport and Higher Authorities Finance department and Managing Director SRTC as these authorities had duped the VRS/GHS employees by framing a wrong policy.
He further said that the demonstration and dharnas for the last four years, 6th pay commission implementation along with leave salary benefits, Gratuity, Ex- Gratia grant and pending arrears of COLA since 1999 had not cleared.
They appealed to Chief minister Omar Abdullah to rescue our case be put up in the coming budget session, and cleared the pending dues of VRS/GHS employees of J&K SRTC. |
