Jammu, Feb 13: Dogri film 'Geetiyan' is all set to release on February 28 in the cinema halls of Jammu, Kathua and Udhampur besides other peripheral towns. The promising film is based on the stimulating life and behavioural characteristics of gangsters prevalent during 1980s in the City of Temples. Breathtaking sequences alongwith composed depiction of Dogra Culture prevailing during those times is the main attraction of the film. The film has been made under the banner of 'Bees Carving Directs' with head banner of 'Saar Films Entertainment' and produced by Dar Communications, Angular Films and Film Waves as Arun Sharma, Tazeem Dar, Megha Sharma and Sunil Bandral are the film producers. Ravi Shanker is the Executive Producer and Shashi Gupta Choreographer of the film The movie has been directed by the young and dynamic Director of Duggar Pradesh, Rahul Sharma while the Director of photography is Bharat Arora. The star-attraction of this Dogri film is its special effects which are at par with the movies produced in Bollywood and Hollywood. The State-of-Art Dolby Soundtrack System is another feather in the making of this movie which is expected to rock the cinemas in and around Jammu. This thrilling movie is all set to create history as no other movie produced on this soil has incorporated such marvelous technical attributes in their making. The lead roles have been performed by Tanveer Dar, Yashpal Sharma, Ganesh Yadav, Mushtaq Kak, Master Akram, Tejasvani Sharma, Subhash Jamwal Mahesh Puri, and Sher Singh. The lyrics for the film have been written by late Kehar Singh Madhukar, Mohan Singh, Lucky Noor, Balraj Bakshi, Habib Tavishi, and Yashpal Yash. The songs have been sung by Suresh Wadkar and Javed Ali. The Music Director is Arvind Kumar. Son of Music Director Arvind Kumar, Sukhdeep did Music for the film. The film has been shot at Jammu and Leh. The crew of the film has all praise for the venture as they claim it to be the best Dogri movie created ever with a state of art technical, ballistic and other special effects.
