| NCP delegations call on Randhir Singh | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 15: Various delegations of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) today called on Thakur Randhir Singh state President J&K state here at Jammu.
According to press release, the delegations discussed various problems pertaining to their areas like the Chairman Gujjar and Bakerwall cell of NCP Shafiq Ahmed Naaz highlighted that the budget allotment was clear joke with the Gujjar and Bakerwals ,large population of Gujjar and Bakerwals whicih spreads from Lakhanpur to Uri and other parts of J&K has been continuously neglected by the successive govts.
Naaz said that this community has been declared as ST and their share in employment and other facilities have been denied since long. The second delegation of Kishtwar led by Saddat Doolwal District president NYC youth wing of NCP and Showkat Hussain Ahanger District President NCP Kishtwar demanded jobs in Ratily Power Project Drabshall to the local youths even ITI trained have been ignored and also demanded free electricity from the Dulhasti Power project which was promised by the govt after the completion of the said project. Gourav Kapoor State President NYC after his visit to Poonch he reported to the state president about the resentment among the people of Poonch and Rajouri by ignoring important places like Chandak, Bafliaz and Budhal for not providing administrative units similarly Bodh Raj Salaria Chairman NFITU Labour wing of NCP also said that District Ramban and Doda to have been ignored.
The meeting was attended by Kamal Gupta, R S Billowaria, R S Katoch, Gourav Kapoor,Ashok Singh,Tariq Nar, Manu Mahajan, Bansi Lal Sodhi, Mangal Singh Chib, Er Vishal Sharma, R C Bali and Shanti Prakash Shan. |
