| Seven years of VVAPS in education sector | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Mar 5: Considering the elementary need of a firm education system, Ace of Spades Division took the initiative and laid the foundation of "Valley View Army Public School" (VVAPS) on April 2007 with an aim to provide modern education to the children of the district which has significantly served to the people of Rajouri.
Army spokesperson said that first step in 2007, the army i.e. the 57 Field Regiment in October, 2010 took the overall responsibility of the school and added the flavor of effective and optimum administration and security of the school. "The regiment also worked towards the infrastructural development of school by construction of multi-purpose hall, multi activity hall, two new class rooms and renovating the bathrooms, classrooms and water points to help the children gaining the education with modern facilities, he said.
" VVAPS along with 57 Field Regiment achieved its aim in a very short span of time and the achievements in the field of education, cultural programmes and security of the school has been undeniably appreciated by the residents of Rajouri and today VVAPS has turned to be the most premier and top ranked school in the district of which rate of application is more than that of the overall seats available which itself reflects the image of the school in the town, he said. |
