Jammu, Mar 5: Seven days skill development residential workshop through "Selie School" organized here at Sunderbani, district Rajouril, concluded today.
According to press release, Usha International Ltd had sponsored the workshop, wherein 10- sewing machines were distributed among the 10-womens of Block Sunder Bani. O.P Sharma Principal G.H.S.S Sunder Bani was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Naseeb Alam Siddiqui programme coordinator USHA SELIE SCHOOL was the guest honour.
Speaking on this occasion, the chief guest providing many opportunities of employment for women through Selie School particularly the rural ones are prerequisites for us to match the pace of the development at which the world is moving ahead.
Vinod Raina and Vivek Sharma also spoke at length and said such type of programme uplifts the socio-economic status of women, which unfortunately is not as so good now. |
