JAMMU, Mar 7: Finally, the J&K State Sports Council has got Administrative Officer (AO) from outside the organization. Balbir Singh has been appointed as new AO in the autonomous sports body of the state.
Posted with Indian System of Medicines (IMS) as Section Officer, Balbir Singh has been appointed to the new place of posting on ex-cadre basis, an order issued in this regard by General Administrative Department (GAD) on March 3 said.
However, ignorant about the actual name of the J&K State Sports Council, Special Secretary to Government, GAD, Bashir Ahmad Dhar termed the autonomous sports body as 'Directorate of J&K State Sports Council' in the transfer order. Meanwhile, Balbir Singh took over the charge of Administrative Officer from Chief Account Officer, Abdul Salam Kanth, who was holding the additional charge. |
