JAMMU, Mar 8: A cultural programme on the occasion of Women's Day was organized here in the lawns of Raj Bhavan, today. This event, hosted by Usha Vohra, First Lady, was attended by women Legislators, women officers and wives of officers from the civil and military establishments.
In the programme, musical performances were presented by singers from different parts of the country. The event ended with a cultural programme directed by Balwant Thakur which comprised dance forms from different parts of the State.
On the occasion, a prize of Rs. 11000 was given by the First Lady to Master Anmol Jaswal, the teen age singer, to recognize his talent. |
