Transfer orders in School Education Deptt to be kept in abeyance

JAMMU, Mar 8: Reacting to the news item published in today's edition of "Early Times" titled as "Transfers in Education department on sale, MCC violated with impunity", the Government today has directed that all the orders of transfers in School Education Department issued on or before March 4, 2014 and have not been implemented as on or before March 5, 2014 fore-noon are kept in abeyance during the Model Code of Conduct which is already in force with immediate effect as announced by the Election Commission of India on March 5, 2014.
While talking to "Early Times" Chief Electoral Officer Umang Narula said that after their intervention, the School Education department issued the order in which all the transfer orders issued in violation of Model Code of Conduct into abeyance. As per the circular issued here by School Education Department, all the concerned DDOs in School Education Department are directed to implement this order in letter and spirit and any violation in this regard shall be viewed seriously and stern action shall be taken.
