DB directs selection would be subject to final result of PIL
PIL challenging Reservations Rule of 2005

Jammu, Mar 8 (JNF): In a Public Interest Litigation filed by one Ashok Sharma a Social Activist challenging Rule 17 of Reservation Rules framed State of J&K, A Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar directed that Selection, if any, would be subject to the final result of the PIL.
After hearing Adv Kuldeep Singh Parihar for the PIL whereas Sr. AAG Gagan Basotra with Deputy AG Neeru Goswami for the State, Adv Anil Sethi for the BOPEE, the Division Bench directed newly respondents if any Reply, be filed before the next date of hearing.
Pertinent to mention in a CMP filed by Adv Pawan Kundal seeking impleadment as party respondent, Adv Parihar accepts notice and does not raise any serious objections to the impleadment of the applicant as party respondent. Accordingly, application is allowed.
