| ABVP stages protest | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 8 : Activists of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarhi Parishad (ABVP) today held a strong protest demonstration against the Kashmir students who raised anti India slogans and against the statement given by Pakistan's ambassador that they will welcome those youth in their country also provide them scholarships for the same at Parade Chowk.
While lambasting on the anti national elements Akhil Verma ,city secretary ABVP said that this is not the first incident as many cases had been seen in past also when some antinational elements disgraced and disrespected the national anthem before the governor. Also some students of Kashmir University disrespected the national flag during the shooting of a movie few days back.
While speaking on the occasion Kuljeet singh, secterary ABVP JU, strictly condemned statement of Omar Abdullah that the incident in Meerut is not illegal. The statement shows the tendency of state govt. which is endorsing antinational activities and disturbs peace and public order in the state. ABVP also condemned the stance taken by PDP and other separatist parties. |
