Congress, NSUI, INTUC mourn death of Jughal Bhandari

Jammu, Mar 8: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has deeply condoled the untimely and sad demise of Senior Congress leaders of Kishtwar Thakur Jugal Bhandarii who expired today in Jammu due to sudden heart attack .
In a condolence meeting held at PCC HQ. here today, the leaders expressed profound grief and shock over the untimely demise of Shri Jugal Bhandari and described him as a dedicated and committed solider of the party who devoted his entire life in the service of people and the Congress party and never shirked from any responsibility assigned to him by the party and was known in the party rank and file for his simplicity, honesty and integrity and dedication towards the service of people, especially the downtrodden & poor people of the far-flung area. He was Congress candidate in 2008 assembly elections and remained Secretary of PCC and member of PCC Executive.
Two minutes silence was observed in the meeting to pray for peace to the departed soul and strength to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.
Prominent among those who attended the cremation and condolence meeting include S/Shri Th. Hari Singh, Mula Ram, Sheikh Ghulam Haider, S. Gurmukh Singh, G. N. Monga-MLC, Ravinder Sharma-MLC, R.S. Chib, Vinod Sharma, Chuni Lal Bhat, S. R. Sudhir, D. S. Langeh, Hari Singh Chib, Rajiv K. Gupta, Dr. Kanwal Singh, Aswani Puri Narinder Gupta, Neeraj Gupta, Irfan Naqib, Sanjeev Sharma (Pandha), M.A.Malik (Kistwar), Pt. Jagan Nath, Zaffar Ahmed Dholwal, Capt. Karam Chand, Nek Ram-BCC Paddar, Dev Raj-BCC Palmar, Punch Abdul Latif, Punch Ravi Singh, Manoj Kumar, Rinku Kotwal, P.S.Chouhan, Dr. R.K. Khajuria.
Meanwhile NSUI & INTUC jointly held a condolence meeting at Kishtwar to condole the sad demise of Jugal Bandhari of senior Congress leader. NSUI workers expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed to almighty for eternal peace to the departed soul. They also observed two minutes of silence in the memory of late Jugal Bhandari and prayed to Almighty to grant patience to bear this irreparable loss.
Wassim Saroori former General Secretary JK NSUI termed the deceased as nobel soul and prayed to God to bless the deceased with peace and courage to family members. Among the prominent NSUI and INTUC activists who extended condolences to bereaved family included NHPC Kishtwar Chairman Latief Ahmed, Abdul
Wahid lone, Shafqat Hussain, Ahmar Butt, Saqib Lone, President NSUI GDC Kajal Badyal, Aftab Sidiqui, Madan Thakur Varsha Wazir, Amir, Touseef Butt, Irfan Hussain, Mudassar Hussain and others.
Another condolence meeting was also held at Kishtwar under the Presidentship of party District President Pardeep Singh Parihar in which sudden and untimely demise of Jugal Bhandari. All the participants of the meeting and expressed deepest condolence include, DCC President Pardeep Singh Parihar, , Block President Kishtwar Ghulam Hassan Mir, Block President Padder Nek Ram Manhas, Piyare Lal Shan Secretary PCC, Former DYCC President Advocate Sheikh Nasir Hussain, Sardar Narinder Singh, Irshad Ahmed Sheikh, Brij Lal Sharma, Parkash Ram Sharma, Lekh Raj Rathore and NSUI District President Prakash Singh.
