Majalta, Mar 8: Six days long awareness programme under Kishori Shakti Yojana (KSY) concluded here on Saturday at the office of Child Development and Project Office (CDPO) in Majalta. The programme was organised under the leadership of CDPO (Majalta) Dr Syed Namaz Shah where over 60 girls participated. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Namaz Shah highlighted the importance of KSY schemes, and various other projects launched by the Social Welfare Department in Majalta. Meanwhile, Gynecologist Dr Dimple gave information on personal hygienic, anemia and other health issues with regard to the women though her lectures, while Advocate Amit Sharma delivered lectures on dowry, women rights, domestic violence etc. The girls from four Panchayats Peouni, Panada, Tamma, and Kathil participated in the six days long programme. |
