Anantnag, Mar 8 : After the announcement of Model Code of Conduct (MCC), BJP for the first time in Kashmir valley today organized a booth workers convention to mark the begging of party's election campaign for the lok Shaba polls. Candidate named for Anantnag Parliamentary constituency, Mustaq Ahmad Malik who has fought 2008 assembly election from Noorabad constituency of South Kashmir as an independent candidate and somehow managed to get 182 votes out of 62202 claimed that he will contribute in party's 272+ mission if party workers strengthened and supported him In the day long booth workers convention that was attended by over hundred party workers besides state party leaders including Ashok Koul, General sectary, Vice President and in charge Kashmir province, Ramesh Arora and Charanjeet Singh Khalisa, pledged to contribute in Modi's 271+Mission from the valley. Top leaders from Kashmir valley including Mohd Yousf Sofi has addressed the function and assured full support to Malik who was welcomed here by party leaders and workers. Worth to mention that after the announcement of Model code of conduct by the election commission, BJP is first party to hold such a function.
