| Vakil appeals people of country to go for introspection while casting their vote | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 8 : Former Minister and Member AICC Abdul Gani Vakil today said that people of this country must go for introspection before casting their vote and need of the hour demands that they must understand the outcome of bringing to power communal and fanatic forces. He said that handing over country to extremists will neither be a fruitful decision nor in the interest of the country at any stage. Vakil reiterated that India's existence as well as future integration is exclusively dependent on secular ideology because its birth is rooted in religious tolerance and secular credentials. Since independence Congress party has always devoted itself to maintain and upheld the sovereignty and integrity of India and never allowed communal ideology to invade into or prosper and said that God forbid if BJP wins it will put India's existence into danger. Vakil was addressing Sevadal Congress workers at Gandhi Nagar Jammu. Function was presided over by Chief J&K Sevadal Balwinder Singh Sambyal Congress Jammu.
Vakil while addressing the gathering said when whole world is transcending and overstepping towards younger leadership with an aim of new vision of overall development, self reliance and economic forwardness, Vakil said that Congress is also looking forward and keeping pace with the world and has projected young leadership in the shape of Rahul Gandhi and country under his dynamic leadership will definitely succeed in achieving every mile stone with zeal and zest and dedication. |
