| BJP deliberately fields weak candidates from Jammu seats | | `An attempt to keep Modi away from PM chair' | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 8 : The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) has lost the chance to capitalize on the ground prepared by Narendra Modi to root out the Congress party in Lok sabha elections. In Jammu and Kashmir the BJP has fielded weakest candidates in the upcoming elections who seem to be aiming at minting money during the elections. Recently the BJP announced its candidature for Jammu and Kashmir Lok Sabha seats and for two seats of Jammu region, Jammu-Poonch and Udhampur-Doda seats, ditting LA from Nagrota, Jugal Kishore Sharma and party chief spokesperson of J&K Dr. Jatinder Singh have been fielded. It is being alleged that leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley and leader of opposition in Lok sabha Sushma Swaraj have decided to field weak candidates on around 40 seats in whole country so that the tally of BJP remains around 180 seats and NaMo is not able to become Prime Minister. Fielding weak candidates for two seats of Jammu region, is also considered part of that strategy where Jaitley has been able to give tickers to Jugal Sharma and Jatinder Singh. Both of these candidates are not enjoying any public support and their chances of winning the elections from these seats are minimal and it is being predicted that Congress may regain both these seats. If BJP losses both these seats, the buck must stop on Arun Jaitely and Sushma Swaraj for stopping Modi to become Prime Minister. Both of them have done this to please L K Advani who still wishes to be Prime Minister and keep NaMo out. |
