| Jammu, Mar 31: A day before the proposed road show in R S Pura, a strong protest demonstration was staged by the people of village Chandochak against Congress candidate for Jammu- Poonch constitutency, Madan Lal Sharma. Irate over non appearance of the MP during his two previous tenures, the protestors burnt his posters and threatened lawlessness if the candidate came to their village for the road show. The protestors led by Panch Babu Ram alleged that Madan Lal Sharma, did not come to their village to mitigate their plights, and now he was trying to befool people by organizing road show which was unacceptable to them. Pertinently, a road show is being organized in R.S Pura on Tuesday by the Congress workers for Madan Lal Sharma. |
