Banihal, Mar 31: Exuding faith in dynamic leadership of Ghulam Nabi Azad, former minister and member AICC Abdul Gani Vakil and other senior leaders of party today expressed to sought vote in favour of Ghulam Nabi Azad as each vote in favour of alliance candidate shall work for shaping a successful and bright future of the youth and the state as well.
"Azad's vision for equitable development and prosperity of common masses has helped the Congress in achieving popularity in all the three regions of the state, the misconception of discrimination on the basis of religion and region, he said and congratulated Ghulam Nabi Azad for his decision to contest parliament election from Jammu and Kashmir.
Vakil was addressing public meetings in Hinjhall and Chamalwas in Banihal Constituency said Azad's determination for over all equitable development of all the three regions of Jammu and Kashmir will definitely help state to come out of red and every issue particularly alarming unemployment, besides strengthening the bond of unity and integrity will be of prime concern.
Sr Vice President J&K PCC also reiterated that Azad's contributions both in the capacity Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Minister are exceptional and remarkable.
He said that NHRM, JSSY, establishment of Super Specialty Hospitals, Health Centers and providing of ambulances viz. a. viz. free medical aid to BPL Category etc across country substantiate these claims.
He said that Azad's unrelenting efforts and visionary policies resulted in empowerment of common masses in the state and also maintained that Ghulam Nabi Azad's 2½ year tenure as Chief Minister of J&K State can be termed as developmental era in state.
Former Minister said that sanctioning of five new Medical Colleges for the State depicts the care, love and affection of Mr.Azad for this State. He said under his able leadership achieving self reliance in every sector is not an impossible task.
Addressing the gathering Minister of State for Technical Education and Power Viqar Rasool Wani said Congress has always stood for the cause of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and their welfare and has never indulged in raising hollow slogans to misguide the people for political gains.
"NC-Congress coalition is based on principles with secular credentials and commitment for the welfare of the state. He said the coalition government, will usher the state in an era of peace, prosperity and all round development, he said.
Seeking vote from the masses to vote in favour Ghulam Nabi Azad, they said that their vote in favour of the Azad will be the vote for shaping their successful future. |
